Research Impact
Our research spans multiple domains with the potential to transform how we monitor, understand, and optimize human performance.

Human-Machine Interactions
Creating robotic exoskeletons, virtual reality systems, and human-in-the-loop controllers to enhance human capabilities and performance. We design intuitive interfaces that bridge the gap between human intent and machine response.
Wearable Sensors and Mobile Health
Developing and validating wearable technologies for real-time physiological monitoring in mobile settings, from smartwatches to electronic textiles and temporary e-tattoos. Our research advances the next generation of health monitoring devices that seamlessly integrate into daily life.

Neuroengineering
Pioneering mobile brain imaging using high-density EEG and brain-computer interfaces to understand neural control of human movement and cognition. Our work enables new insights into brain function during real-world activities.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics
Leveraging machine learning and AI to analyze complex physiological data and optimize human performance in real-world applications. We develop intelligent systems that transform raw sensor data into actionable insights.
